The KERRVILLE GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY is happy to announce that we have a new space where we
can once again assist people with their family research.  
 
We have: ancestry.com, Fold3 and New England Historic Genealogical Society Databases.

SOCIETY MEETING DATES

 

Society Meetings are normally held in the B-H Memorial Library Meeting Room, located at the rear of the Library building, at 505 Water Street, Kerrville, TX.

 

These meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the months of: Jan., Feb., March, April, May, Sept., Oct. and Nov.

Refreshments served.

We will be meeting at Jeweler, James Avery's, at 145 Avery Road, off of Harper Road.  We will have a tour and learn about James Avery.

 

February 18, 2015

Martha Boye from Boerne will be showing us how to use the Family Search Web site.

 

March 18, 2015

Nancy Alford, President of the Friends of the Kerr County Historical Commission, will speak on the Impact that Tuberculosis had on the Growth of Kerr County.

 

April 15, 2015

Sharon Wolff will show us some Web sites to use for our genealogy research.

 

May 20, 2015

Paul Burrier will speak about Confederate soldiers (not just Texas soldiers) who left the states after they lost the Civil War and went to other countries such as Mexico, South America.
