LINEAGE SOCIETIES - How do I Join and What Proof do I Need?

Experienced genealogists, past Regent of DAR, Vallie Terrell,  and Dr. Jim Heath,  incoming State President of TXSSAR, will present a how-to program on requirements and procedures necessary to apply for membership in NSDAR, TXSSAR.

If you don't know what is needed or how to apply, their expertise in guiding you, to acceptance in these organizations, with examples of application forms,  and data needed to join, will be of great help.

APRIL PROGRAM:  "The Great Depression, the WPA and how it affected us, as genealogists."
Sue Ashby will give a short presentation on the programs, begun during the 1920's and 1930's, that are a boon to genealogy.

Jane Greig has an interesting article on genealogy, entitled, "Dig deep, cultivate many resources to discover your roots"
Ms Greig answers many genealogy questions for Texans in all walks of live. 
She cites a Texas organization of interest to people who have early Texas ancestors.
