BAKER  /  McCURRY / WAMBA

Do not copy to put on another web site.

We have information in our cemeteries that is from researching, not just from walking the cemetery, and there may not be a stone so it will be easy to prove they were copied.  The cemeteries are here for researching and personal use only not for submitting to other web pages.  This is hard work of volunteers.  We have the locations of the cemeteries if you would like to walk it and get your own listing.

In the Texarkana  USA Quarterly, Volume 2, Number 2, Summer 1975, tombstone inscriptions for this cemetery were published.  At the time Mrs. Elizabeth (Scott) Wilburn canvassed this cemetery, the grave below was not marked and no evidence was visible that a grave was even there.  On May 26, 1979, Mrs. Wilburn revisited this cemetery and found this marker erected.  "Evidently," she says, " a relative has erected a stone recently for this grave."  This stone was erected to the right of the grave for Marcellus McCurry.
