Nash School 1945-46, Bowie County Texas

This is the 2nd and 3rd grade class of

Mrs. Ira Freiberger in the 1945-46 school term at Nash School.

Nash school was located on Highway 82 in Nash across the road from the Shipp Grocery which later became Rathburn's. The building still stands today, but has been used as several businesses since it housed the school. It went through Grade 11; then the students were bussed to Texas High School in their senior year. Mr. Shelby Shipp was the principal at Nash during this period.
