TEXARKANA POST OFFICE EMPLOYEES
Photo of Texarkana Post Office employees - believed to have taken on the
steps of the post office, date unknown but thought to be about 1912 - the
ribbons worn by most of the people in the photo read, "Pine Bluff wants
you in 1912." James T. Burnett, Sr. (1884-1977) was a life-time
resident of Texarkana and worked most of his life at the post office, starting
as a mail clerk and eventually serving as Assistant Postmaster. He is standing
in the front, lower-left side of the photo.
