Meeting notices!
The best way I can think of to increase your knowledge and help further your research is to attend some seminars & meetings. Every time I attend one I learn more and leave with new friends. So we are including the following page to get the word out on as many of them as we can. Hopefully you will find one that will be close enough for you to attend. If you know of one please let us know in order for us to get the word out!

 NEW SERVICE PROVIDED
We now have available to us, 70 Texarkana City Directories covering 100 year span, beginning with 1899/1900 and ending with 2000. We have volunteers who will search for your ancestors who lived within the cities of Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas during these years. Cost is $20 per name or address. All directories will be searched. Send you name/names requested and check or money order ($20 each name) to:

Please allow up to 6 weeks to receive the information. If you prefer, for quicker service, you may include your e-mail address and have the information sent to you by e-mail. Please notate your preference on your request.

NEW PUBLICATION
The Society is now offering the Quarterly/Journal publications for the first thirty (30) years on CD and/or DVD.
Journal DVD includes years 1974-2004 with Table of Contents 1974-2007. Journal on CD is a three CD set: Vol 1 contains 1974-1987; Vol 2 contains 1988-1993; Vol 3 contains 1994-2004. Each CD also contains Table of Contents 1974-2007. All are in .PDF format, each Journal is searchable. Cost is $37.50 including shipping in Continental US. Please allow 4-6 weeks for postal delivery. If it seems longer than you were thinking send e-mail to me or Doris and we will let you know what is going on with it. Sometimes we have to work on it before it can go up on line. And sometimes we have to learn something new in order to get it on line.
