Funeral services will be held for George W. Wayman, 59, of Bay City, 3 p. m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church.

Officiating at the services will be the Rev. W. D. Baker. Wayman died May 4, 1982 in Houston.

Survivors include: wife, Priscilla Wayman of Bay City; mother, Mrs. Carolyn Wayman of Bellevue, Kentucky; son, Michael Wayman of Corbin, Kentucky; step-son, Shelton Lee Hebert of Bay City; daughter, Mrs. Ann Byassee of Nashville, Tenn.; step-daughter, Terri Jean Platt of Victoria; granddaughter, Rachel Lee Wayman of Corbin, Kentucky; sister, Mrs. Barbara Schafer of Bellevue, Kentucky.

Burial will follow services at the Midfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers include William A. Orr, Jr., James Craft, Cecil Davis, Cliff Thomas, Carlton LaBeff, Dr. Ken Culbreth, Howard Doyle and Dr. Dron Coleman.

Honorary pallbearers include members of the Matagorda County Medical Association.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Heart Fund.

Services under the direction of Dick R. Elkins Bay City Funeral Home.
