Dolph Moore and Louis Wendel were married on December 17, 1879. Their son, William Jerome (1901-1984) was born in Matagorda. He married Lillian Mulhausen and had sons, "Little" Dolph Phineas Moore (1930-1934) and Baby Moore (born and died December 8, 1933). Jerome married second Johnnie Lee Hurr.
