Golie Mae (Warren) Hilliard*

August 6, 1916 - October 8, 2001

Golie is buried in Section C1 next to her husband Joseph B. Hilliard (October 19, 1915 - October 25, 1995) and near their son Private First Class Joseph Roland Hilliard (March 28, 1939 - November 17, 1965), United States Army who was killed in action in the Ia Drang Valley, Vietnam.  At the time of his death his family was living in Bay City, Texas.  (*We have two spellings: Hilliard & Hillard.)

Pearl Leola* (Cullier) Woods

May 28, 1899 - September 28, 1978

Pearle Lee is buried in Section B1 next to her son Corporal George C. Woods, Jr. (February 23, 1926 - February 9, 1951), United States Army who was killed in action in Korea.  At the time of his death his family was living in Bay City, Texas.  It is not known where his father George C. Woods Sr. is buried. (*George C. Jr.’s birth record gives name as Pearle Lee.)
