Norman was born in Harris County, Texas. He was in the U. S. Navy and stationed aboard the USS McKee. He died in a shipboard accident on August 13, 1985 in San Diego, California. In addition to his parents, he was survived by his wife, Jeanette, and daughter, Suzette.

Harold L "Mickey" Holstein

Harold “Mickey” L. Holstein age 70 of Houston died February 15, 2008 in Palacios, TX.


He was born in Woodside, LA April 4, 1937 the son of the late Leonard Holstein and Mollie Eugenia Wheat Holstein. He retired from the Boilmaker local #74.

He was predeceased by his son Norman Thomas Holstein, sisters Dixie Meyers, Lois Low and a half sister Marie McCall as well as a brother Freddie Holstein.

He leaves behind his daughter Micki Lynne Holstein, sons Claude Dwayne Holstein, Kelly Fred Holstein and his wife Vada. His sisters Johnnie Skinner and her husband Walter, Marilyn Joyner and her husband Charles, and Janet Wahrenberger and her husband Steven. Brothers, Leonard Holstein and his wife Lola, Charles Holstein and his wife Sissie. In addition he leaves the mother of his children Sandra Warchesik numerous nieces and nephews, eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
