Private Jackson E. Page [April 15, 1892 - February 11, 1918] U. S. Army was born to William Page [May 1859 - ___ ____] and Lee Anthia [Thomas] Page [August __, 1846 September 6, 1944] at Gainesmore, Matagorda County, Texas.  He died from Lobar pneumonia, both lower and right middle lobes [probable Spanish Flu] at the Base Hospital Camp Travis, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.  He was attached to 509th Engineer Sr. Battalion, 36th (T Patch) Division.  He is buried at Shiloh Cemetery, Cedar Lane, Matagorda County, Texas.  He was survived by his wife _______ (_____) Page, son William, mother Lee and several siblings.  As best as can be determined from available records he was living in Galveston, Galveston County, Texas with his wife and son William when he enlisted. At the time of his death it is not known where his wife and son were living, but his mother and siblings were living at Cedar Lane.  He gave his occupation as porter on his draft registration card. He is buried at Shiloh Cemetery near his mother.
