Emilie (Ripper) Knebel

February 27, 1891 - May 21, 1955

Emilie and her husband Frank Knebel (September 15, 1888 - January 11, 1972) are buried at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Blessing, Texas.  Their son Private First Class Frank E. Knebel, United States Army (November 16, 1917 - September 18, 1944) was killed in action in France and is buried at Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.  At the time of his death his family lived at Midfield.

Mary (Muzney) Miska

October 28, 1883 - January 15, 1951

Mary and her husband Joseph Anton Miska (August 18, 1884 - July 1, 1962) are buried at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery , Blessing Texas next to their son Private John A. Miska, Sr. (August 21, 1921 - September 16, 1943), United States Army who was killed in action in Sicily during World War II.  At the time of his death his family lived in Palacios, Texas.
