[wife of B. Bartlett Rhodes, sister of John L. Logan]

Mrs. B. B. Rhodes died at her home near Blessing at 9 o’clock last Friday, after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Rhodes was near 86 and has spent a good many years in this community. A large number of relatives and friends gathered at the home to pay their tribute to this good woman, whom everyone loved. Interment was made in Francitas cemetery. Palacios Beacon, March 21 1929
