MT. OLIVET CEMETERY

Mt. Olivet is an African-American cemetery located in the Ashwood Community. A church stood adjacent to the cemetery, but the congregation united with the Rock West Baptist Church and together became Union Baptist Church. The Mt. Olivet church building no longer exists. Only one tombstone stands to mark the cemetery although there are several unmarked graves there as well. DIRECTIONS
