Declaration of Intention No. 63

In the District Court of Matagorda

I, Felix Flores, aged 40 years, occupation fisherman, do declare on oath that my personal description is: Color - white, complexion - dark, height 5 ft 5 inches, weight 140 pounds, color of hair - black, color of eyes - brown.

I was born in Matamoras, Mexico on the 12th day of July 1879. I now reside at Palacios, Texas. I emigrated to the United States of America from Matamoras, Mexico on the vessel River Ferry [possibly a river ferry crossing the Rio Grande rather than a ship with that name]; my last foreign residence was Matamoras, Mexico. I am married; the name of my wife is Juna Flores; she was born in Brownsville, Texas and now resides in Palacios, Texas.

It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty and particularly to the United States of Mexico of whom I am now a subject; I arrived at the port of Brownsville, in the state of Texas on or about the 12th day of July, 1880.

I am not an anarchist. I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy; and it is my intention in good faith to become a citizen of the United States of America and permanently reside therein; so help me God.

I, Marrs Kasman, aged 34 years, occupation merchant, do declare on oath that my personal description is: Color - white, Color of hair - brown, Color of eyes - blue. I was born in Lublin, Russia on the 15th day of March, 1885. I now reside at 526 Pearl St., Beaumont, Texas. I emigrated to the United States of America from Rotterdam, Holland on the vessel Rotterdam. My last foreign residence was Lublin, Russia. I am married and the name of my wife is Mary; she was born at Plock, Russia and now resides at Beaumont, Texas.

It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty and particularly to Russia or any independent state within the bounds of the Russian Empire, of  whom I am now a subject; I arrived at the port of New York,  in the state of State of New York  on or about the 19 day of August, 1912.

I am not an anarchist. I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy; and it is my intention in good faith to become a citizen of the United States of America and permanently reside therein; so help me God.

I, Niels Christofferson, aged 54 years, occupation farmer, do declare on oath that my personal description is: Color - white, complexion - light, height 4 ft 8 inches, weight 144 lbs., color of hair - dark grey, color of eyes - bluish grey.

I was born in Narre Rind, Denmark on the 16 day of Jan. 1866. I now reside at Clemville, Texas, Matagorda County. I emigrated to the United States of America from Denmark; I am married, the name of my wife is Annie Petersen Christofferson. She was born at ____ and now resides at Clemville, Texas.

It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty and particularly to Christian X, King of Denmark of  whom I am now a subject; I arrived at the port of New York,  in the state of State of New York  on or about the 20 day of March, 1884.

I am not an anarchist. I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy; and it is my intention in good faith to become a citizen of the United States of America and permanently reside therein; so help me God.

I was born in Germany on the 12th day of April, 1876; I now reside at Danevang, Texas.

I emigrated to the United States of America from Germany. My last foreign residence was Germany. I am married, the name of my wife is Christine Bram; she was born in South Dakota on Aug. 30, 1883 and now resides at Danevang, Texas.

It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty and particularly to the King of Germany.

I am not an anarchist. I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy; and it is my intention in good faith to become a citizen of the United States of America and permanently reside therein.

I was born in Montrose, Scotland on the 22nd day of February 1859; I now reside at Bay City, Texas. I emigrated to the United States of America from Liverpool, England on the Vessel British Crown; my last foreign residence was Liverpool, England. I am married; the name of my wife is Ida Belle Mearns; she was born at McKenzie, Tenn. and now resides at Bay City, Texas.

It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty and particularly to George V, King of Great Britain and Ireland. I arrived at the port of Philadelphia,  in the state of State of Penn.  on the 10th day of January, 1880.

I am not an anarchist. I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy; and it is my intention in good faith to become a citizen of the United States of America and permanently reside therein.

I was born in Weitzen, Ger. (Hanover) on the 30 day of June, 1894. I now reside at Bay City, Texas. I emigrated to the United States of America from Bremen, Germany on the Vessel Lahne; my last foreign residence was Nuembert, Germany. I am not married.

It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty and particularly to German Empire of  whom I am now a subject; I arrived at the port of New York,  in the state of State of New York  on or about the 12th day of Sept., 1894.

I am not an anarchist. I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy; and it is my intention in good faith to become a citizen of the United States of America and permanently reside therein.

I was born in Longenseitzer, Germany on the 18th day of March, 1889. I now reside at Bay City, Texas. I emigrated to the United States of America from Statendam, Holland on the vessel Statendam; my last foreign residence was Berlin, Germany; I am not married.

It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty and particularly to the King of Germany.  I arrived at the port of New York,  in the state of State of New York  on or about the 29th day of May, 1906.

I am not an anarchist. I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy; and it is my intention in good faith to become a citizen of the United States of America and permanently reside therein; so help me God.

I was born in Ragnet, Prussia, Germany on the 17th day of Oct., 1860. I now reside 1/2 mile east of Bay City, Texas.

I emigrated to the United States of America from Berlin, Germany on the vessel Polanasa. My last foreign residence was Berlin, Germany. I am married the name of my wife is Amelia Meschkat; she was born at Statin, Germany and now resides at Bay City, Texas.

It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty and particularly to the King of Germany.  I arrived at the port of New Orleans, in the State of Louisiana  on or about the 1st day of Oct.,  1884.

I am not an anarchist. I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy; and it is my intention in good faith to become a citizen of the United States of America and permanently reside therein.
