PHILLIPS GRAVES |

These graves are located on Matagorda Peninsula in a stand of cedar trees. There is a marker for
Thomas Arthur and the family believes that the two sisters are buried
near him since the family was living on the peninsula at the time of
their deaths. |

| Thomas Arthur Phillips
September 28, 1874 - January 21, 1884 [Thomas was drowned when he
became entangled in the reins of a team of horses and was pulled into the
Gulf.]
Amy Phillips born and died March 12, 1876 Ruth Phillips September 20, 1882 - September 26, 1882 All were children of John B. Phillips, Jr. and Lucy F. Swartz Phillips. |
