Before me R.F. Campbell Clerk of the District Court in and
for
County of Bastrop } said County and State, duly qualified and
commissioned in terms of law personally appeared H. Koppel, for
Koppel & Bro's who is well known to me who acknowledged his signature to the
foregoing attached mortgage dated the 12th day of April A.D. 1873, and the
said H. Koppel declared to me that he had signed, sealed, executed and delivered the same for all the purposes and considerations therein stated-
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and this seal of said courts at office in Bastrop in said County this the 14th day of April AD

State of Texas } Know all men by these presents,
that County of Bastrop } I, W.B. Billingsley of the County and State
above mentioned for and in the consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars
($300.) gold to me in hand paid by O F. Nash of said county and state the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold and
conveyed unto the said O.F. Nash his heirs and assigns all my right, title
interest and claim in and to that certain lot and property situated in the
county of Bastrop, town of McDade, and state of Texas, known and described
as follows; The land upon which stands a livery stable fronting South on Waco Street
33 feet extending back fifty feet (50) said tract of land is situated on lot
no. (1) one on block no.(10) ten in the town of McDade according to the
map of said town drawn by Theo Kosse a copy of which is also recorded in book
"Q" page 239, Records of Deeds Bastrop County.
Together with all and singular the rights members, here and appurtenances (excepting
the building, a livery stable) situated thereon which belongs to another
party) to the same belonging or in anywise incident, or appertaining to him the
said O.F. Nash and I the said W.B. Billingsley do bind myself, my
heirs,
executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend the title of
the said land unto him the said O.F. Nash, his executors, administrators and
assigns, from and against all persons like confully claiming onto
claim the same or any part thereof. In witness I the grantor hereunto set
my hand and affix my seal, using scroll for seal this the third day of February A.D. 1873.

Wm. B. Billingsley to me well known, and whose genuine
signature appears in and to the above and foregoing deed and instrument of writing
and acknowledged to me that he signed sealed and executed and delivered
the
same for the purposes and considerations then in set forth . To certify which, I have herewith set my hand and official seal, at my
