Formerly Sesser Donald Craig Styve of
McDade, Texas, formerly of Sesser, passed from this life at 9
p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, in Austin, Texas. He was born Aug.
15, 1967, in Melrose Park. The family moved to Sesser in 1979.
Don was a graduate of the Class of 1985 of Sesser-Valier High
School and received an associate degree from Triton College in
River Grove in 1987
He was employed as a final test supervisor with Applied
Materials in Austin, Texas. Donald is survived by his fiancee,
Becky Kimberlin of McDade, Texas, formerly of Highland; his
parents, Robert and Kay (Witcher) Styve of Sesser; brothers
Robert Styve II, Sesser; Patrick Styve (Paula, Jake & Grace)
of Cathedral City, CA; Michael Styve (Beth, Michael Jr., Kyle
and Kaitlyn) of Overland Park, KS; Scott Styve (Kimberly &
Dalton) of Cathedral City, CA; Brad Styve (Jullie) of Olathe,
KS; uncle Charles "Spike" Witcher and wife Tina of
Sesser; great uncles, Robert Witcher and Ivan Thomas, both of
Sesser, Ray Chamberlin, Oceanside, CA; great aunts, Cara Mae
Shepard of Sesser and Marie Chamberlin, Oceanside, CA; his
fiancee's family, the Kimberlin's of Highland and numerous
cousins, friends and acquaintances
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents,
Woodroe and Ida (Warner) Witcher of Sesser, paternal grandmother
Bernice Styve (nee Butler) of Forest Park, uncle Dugan Styve,
Franksville WI, his fiancee's father, Dale Kimberlin of
Highland.
Donald will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003 at
the First Christian Church of Sesser. Burial will be in Maple
Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today to the
Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home, Sesser, and from 10 to 11 a.m.
Wednesday at the church
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sesser First
Christian Church Building Fund, and will be accepted at the
funeral home
