DeMontel Ranch, Castroville LOCATION: The De Montel home place is located 1 1/4 miles northwest of Castroville. To reach the family cemetery, take Mexico Street to CR 477 (River Road); north on CR 477 to CR 466. Left on CR 466 about 1/4 mile to gate on the left side. Follow west edge of field about 1/8 mile. Cemetery is on the right at the base of low hill. NOTE: The following tombstone inscriptions were copied word for word, line for line.
