  Application of Arminda Jane Horton for probate of will of
  Henderson Horton who died 22 September, 1890 in Midland County,
  Texas, where he was residing.
   
  Will of Henderson Horton of the County of Jack, State of Texas
  was made 15 May, 1882.

No. 11 Estate of C. H. Welch
   
  Application for administration of estate states that C. H. Welch
  died in January 1891 in Midland, Texas, without leaving a will,
  and leaving no heirs in the state of Texas.
   
  Eliza White, principal, Jesse F. Pemberton and Albert Lee, Sureties,
  were appointed temporary administrators an 6 January, 1891.
   
  Settlement states that the only heir at law now living is a
  brother, John Welch, 55 years of age, who resides in Chicago,
  La Salle County, Illinois.
   
No. 12 Estate of Joseph W. Harper
   
  Application for administration of estate states that Joseph W.
  Harper died 2 April, I905 in Toyah, Reeves County, Texas, without
  a will; that at the time of his death he was a resident of
  Andrews County, Texas.
   
  County Judge of Martin County, Texas, appointed G. C. Ferguson
  Principal and J. B. McClelland and C. W. Bennett sureties to
  administer the state.
   
  Heirs were Mrs. E. H. Powell and Flora S. Harper
   
No. 13 Estate of J. F. Zane
   
  Petition to administer the estate filed 23 March, 1891 by
  R. H. Zane, a resident of Midland County, Texas states that
  on 20th day of February, 1891 J. F. Zane, having no fixed
  residence in the state of Texas, died at the city of Chihuahua
  in the country of Old Mexico, but had his principal estate in
  Midland County, Texas. The petitioner is a brother and nearest
  of kin. There are minor heirs entitled to an interest in the
  estate.
   
  "Your petitioner show that the following persons are entitled
  to receive portions of said estate:

  Hannah M. Jones
  John W. Jones, all of Williamsville, Illinois
  Andrew Zane
  Samuel L. Zane
  John N. Zane
  Mary E. Zane
  Frank H. Zane, all of Carthage, Missouri
  John W. Zane, of Springfield, Missouri
  Mary J. Lynd
  Ella Epler, both of Pleasant Plains, Illinois
  Charles L. Epler of Chicage, Illinois
  Mary Bullard, of Mechanicsburg, Illinois
  R. H. Zane, of Springfield, Illinois
  All of said heirs are adults except Mary Bullard, and W. S. Bullard
  of Mechanicsburg, Illinois is the father and guardian of Mary
  Bullard"
   
  Burial of J. F. Zane was in Williamsville, Illinois
  In 1893, the heirs signed the following:
  "We, the undersigned, heirs of the estate of J. F. Zane, deceased,
  hereby consent, that whatever share in said estate to which we
  may be entitled, shall be applied toward the purchase and erection
  of a family monument, to be erected to the memory of our ancestors,
  John and Elizabeth Zane, and their descendants."
   
No. 14 Estate of J. W. Lawrence
   
  Application for administration of estate states that J. W.
  Lawrence, who resided in Midland County, died in that county
  intestate on 3rd. day of October, 1891.
   
  Successive administrators of the estate were N. S. Worley,
  James S. Smith, and B. F. Shelton.
   
  Mrs. Angelina Lawrence, wife of J. W. Lawrence, was the only
  heir named, although settlement states "other Heirs".
   
No. 15 Estate of Lum C. Thomson
   
  Application for administration of estate filed on 8 September,
  1892; Lum C. Thomson Died intestate.
   
  N. B. Jones appointed temporary administrator with O. B. Holt
  and J. W. Driver as sureties
   
  Appraisers of the estate were A. F. Crowley and W. G. Pemberton
   
  (coffin was purchased 2 September, 1892)

  Application for probate states that Edward Thomas, who lived
  in Midland County, Texas, died on 7 January, 1893.

  H. E. Crowley, in proof of will, stated that Edward Thomas was
  about 55 years of age at the time of executing the will and

  8 months and 25 days after making the will.

No. 19 Estate of F. M. Sligar
   
  Application for administration states that F. M.. Sligar died
  16 March, 1393 without leaving any lawful will.
  Deceased left neither wife, children nor descendants.

  Residents of Butte County, California
  Brother J. W. Sligar, a resident of Leland, Idaho

  The following children of Mrs. Jane Dick, now deceased, who was
  a married sister of F. M. Sligar:
  Marion Dick, Thomas Dick and Jane Dick (a minor under
  guardianship of Daniel Streeter), all residents of
  of Butte County, California
  James Dick and John Dick, both residents of Minerva, Oregon.
  The following children of E. M. Sligar, now deceased, who was a
  brother of F. M. Sligar:
  John Sligar, William Sligar, and James Sligar, all residents
  of Butte County, California
  Abraham Sligar, a resident of Orville, California
  Mrs. Hattie Wills, a resident of Orville, California
  Mrs. Delia Voorhees, Joseph Sligar, both of Palermo, Califonia
