For Life of Milam County is being held Saturday, April 5th from Noon-
Midnight at Apache Pass on FM 908. Sign your team up now by going
online to www.relayforlife.org/milamcotx.
Plant Sale in downtown Cameron, Texas at the Cameron Youth Expo Center.
This event is sponsered by the Little River Basin Master
Gardeners from 9 AM to 2 PM.
Safety Rodeo will be April 12th, 9:30AM-11:30AM at Milam County
Sheriff's Department parking lot. Free to all, just bring your bike to

13TH Annual MARC RUN brought to you by The Bad To The Bone Riders of
Rockdale will take place April 12th at The Ranch, 415 W. Hwy 79 in
Rockdale. This annual ride benefits The M.A.R.C. (Milam Adult Resource
Center) of Milam County Located here in Rockdale. M.A,R.C. serves all
Milam County Adult Residents with Physical and Learning Disabilities.
The 2014 Ride will Start and Stop at The Ranch. Ride Registration
begins at 9AM with first Bike out at 11AM. The ride fee is $20 for
rider and $25 with a passenger. The Ride fee includes a BBQ Meal with
all the trimmings. There will also be plates for $8 starting at 11:30AM
till sold out. There will be Longsleeve and Pocket ride t-shirts for
sale by pre order only for $25 with an order deadline of March 3rd by
calling Cynthia @ (512)-698-2784. They will have Shortsleeve ride
shirts for $20 the day of the ride. The last Bike in will be at 4PM at
The Ranch. Beginning at 4:30PM a Live Auction will begin. There will
also be a 50/50 Drawing, D.J.Music and Door prizes. For more

April 28-May 10
voting for the City of Cameron will be at City Hall on April 28th
through May 2nd, and May 5th and 6th. A branch voting location
will also be set up at Yoe High School on May 5th. Election Day voting
on May 10th will be 7AM-7PM at Cameron ISD. Applications for
mail-in ballots should be sent to Amy Harris, Early Voting Clerk, Box
833, Cameron, TX. Applications are due May 1st.
Yoe High School Spring Sports Banquet will be Monday, May 5th, from
6-9PM at the high school cafeteria and Performing Arts Center. The meal
will start at 6PM, with the ceremony in the PAC at 7PM.
The Dewberry Festival
in Cameron is a great event that is fun for the whole family. The
annual event will be held May 17, 2014 in Ledbetter Park. Each year, the
Dewberry Festival features a wide variety of activities such as a
variety of food booths, arts and crafts booths, lots of dewberry cobbler
and ice cream, a horseshoe tournament, a classic car show, and even a
youth fishing tournament.
first Gause School 1950s schoolmates reunion will be held June 21st
from 10AM-3PM at Gause Community Park. Anyone that attended Gause
School between 1950 and 1960 is welcome to attend. Bring your own food,
chairs, and whatever else you wish. This event is intended to be a
casual get together of 1950s schoolmates.
