Harold Johnson
GOLDTHWAITE - Harold N. Johnson, age 79, of Priddy died Tuesday, April 28, 1998, in a Temple, texas hospital.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel
with burial in Zion Cemetery in Priddy, Texas .
He was born Jan. 26, 1919, in Trimble, Ohio, the son of Lolie and Armina (Hogue) Johnson. and had been a resident of Priddy since 1980.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, as well as a
carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Velma ``Tuffy'' Johnson of Priddy; a son, David Johnson of Priddy; three brothers, Milton Johnson
of Clarkdale, Ariz., Ernie Johnson of Austin and Larry Johnson of Fairborn, Ohio; two sisters, Ruth Griffin of Sabinal and Rhoda Wells of Millersport, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
NOTE: Tuffy's Maiden name is Bufe

FINAL RITES SET APRIL 30TH FOR HAROLD JOHNSON
Harold N. Johnson, age 79, of Priddy, Texas, died Tuesday, April 28, 1998 at the V.A. Hospital in
Temple, Texas.
Mr. Johnson was born January 26, 1919 at Trimble, Ohio, the son of Lolie and Armina (Hogue) Johnson.
He married Velma Bufe on January 7, 1942 at Brownwood, Texas. The couple moved to Priddy from Austin in 1980. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy. He was a carpenter. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors are his wife, Velma "Tuffy" Johnson of Priddy; one son, David Johnson of Priddy; three brothers, Milton Johnson of Clarkdale, Arizona, Ernie Johnson of Austin and Larry Johnson of Fairbourne, Ohio and two sisters, Ruth Giffin of Sabinal and Rhoda Wells of Millersport, Ohio.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday, April 30, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel in Goldthwaite. Mel Hammer, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church, officiated at the final rites. Interment was in the Zion Cemetery, Priddy, Mills County, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers were Gary Bufe, Dale Bufe, Carson Padgett, LDudley McCarty, and Jett Johnson.
