QRYTEXT: Seeking the origin of one John Andrew Roberts who resided in Forestburg at least from 1882 to 1899; was called Dr. Roberts because he was a pharmacist; his spouse was Virginia McNatt of the McNatts of near Bowie. Texine Medicine was a proprietary name of his organization, and marketed an elixir, perhaps of the same name, a remedy apparently created by Virginia and was among the remedies sold by the Dr. Roberts had 14 children, many of whom died in youth and are buried in the cemetery at Forestburg. The surviving children were two daughters, Maggie and Ruby, and son, John. Maggie married Ernest Cunningham in 1900±, and both the Roberts and the Cunninghams moved to St. Jo in early 1900s, and opened the Texine Medicine Company, on the West corner of the square. Subsequently, Ernest and John split the business as a result of a family quarrel following the death of Maggie, caused by infection contracted during/after the birth of their third child, my father, John Cunningham. Ernest was the eldest son of Dave and Rosa Cunningham who resided about a mile NNE of St. Jo. Dave was an immigrant to Montague County in the 1870's. John Andrew Roberts is reported to have been born in Arkansas, but no census record has any confirmation. I would like to learn of his early life, place/date of birth, and family info.

My question is did he die in Montague County. There is no death certificate nor does he appear on Texas State Death Index or Find A Grave.
