BIGELOW, HENRY EARL

Henry Earl Bigelow, 43,
of Mt. Pleasant died at 4:30 pm., Saturday, March 21, 1992 at St.
Francis Hospital La Crosse, Wisconsin. Services were set for 10:00 am
Wednesday, March 25 at the Bates-Cooper-Weems Chapel in Mt. Pleasant
with the Rev. Ricky Patterson officiating. Internment will be in the
Concord Cemetery at Omaha. Mr. Bigelow was born April 19, 1948 at
Burlington, VT. The son of the late William Charles and Ida Mae
Bigelow, he was a truck driver for Dynasty Corporation. He was a
veteran of the U. S. Marines and had served in Vietnam. He is survived
by his wife Doris Bigelow of Mt. Pleasant; sons Michael John Jarvis of
Omaha; Bryan Bigelow and Matthew Bigelow both of Mt. Pleasant; three
daughters Amy Perales, Tracy Bigelow and Brandy Bigelow all of Mt.
Pleasant; one grandchild Angelic Perales of Mt. Pleasant; one brother
Clifford Bigelow of Vermont; and a sister Ruth Bigelow of Vermont. (Row

CASON, ORA SMITH

Ora Cason, 87,
of Omaha died Thursday, March 19, 1992 at Titus County Memorial Hospital
in Mt. Pleasant. Services were at 2 p.m. Friday, March 20, 1992 at the
First Baptist Church of Omaha, with the Rev. Clifford Longino and the
Rev. Andy Andrews officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery. Mrs.
Cason was born July 22, 1904, and was a member of the Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Cason, a daughter Patsy
Davlin and a grandson Anthony Cason. Survivors include one son and
daughter-in-law Toby and Claudia Cason of Omaha, one daughter and son in
law Nona Jo and Lou Clark of Gilmer; one son-in-law Luther Davlin of
Texarkana; four grandsons Wayne Cason, Joe Mike Cason and Lloyd Davlin
all of Omaha and Bobby Cason of Cleveland; two granddaughters, Darla
Ragland of Naples and Leanne Williams of Mesquite; 12
great-grandchildren and a number or nieces and nephews. She was the

| Davis, James O. "Hopper" |
James O. “Hopper" Davis, 77, of Omaha,
died Tuesday, June 2, 1992, at the Titus County Memorial Hospital in
Mount Pleasant, Texas. Services were Friday, June 5, at Concord Baptist
Church near Omaha, with the Rev. Glen Griffith and the Rev. Clifford Longino officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery. Mr. Davis was
born July 2, 1914, in Omaha. He was retired from Lone Star Steel, a
Baptist, a member of the David Elliott Masonic Lodge and a Corporal in
the U. S. Army - veteran of World War II. Survivors include one brother
and sister-in-law, J. E. “Chuck” and Joyce Davis of Mount Pleasant; two
sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Irvy Galloway of Omaha and
Verna and Raymond Lawton of Baytown; nine nieces and seven nephews. |
| Garrett, Emmanual |
Emmanual Garrett, 96, of Omaha, died
Monday, October 12, 1992 at Redbud Retreat Nursing Home in Naples. Services were Wednesday, October `14, at
Concord Baptist Church near Omaha, with Tom Hawk and Harold Amerson
officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery. Mr. Garrett was born
on June 19, 1895, in Omaha, to Pinkerton and Julia Armstrong Garrett.
He was a retired farmer and member of the Baptist Church. Survivors
include seven daughters Pauline Cline and Julia Cline, both of Omaha,
Opal May and Earma Dean Derrick, both of San Manuel, Arizona, Nadine
Gerron of Mt. Pelasant, Lois Horner of Chillicothe, Texas and Ruby
Grigsby of Hitchcock; 26 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 31
great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were his grandsons. He was
preceded in death by his wife, Ora Pearl Garrett, who died in 1962. |

Robert “Bob” Laney, 85, of Omaha, died
Monday, September 14, 1992, at Elmwood Nursing Home. Services were on
Wednesday, September 16, at Alexander Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn
Griffith officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery. Mr. Laney
was born March 8, 1907, in Linden, Texas. He was a retired sawmill
foreman and member of the Cookville Baptist Church. Survivors include
two sons, Robert Laney and James Laney, both of Cookville; one daughter,
Louise Wells of Omaha; two sisters, Vera Young of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and
Ruth Bailey of Ft. Worth; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren;
and two great-great-grandchildren. |
| Smith, Lola Mae Thomas |
Lola Mae Thomas Smith, 75 of Omaha,
died Saturday March 7, 1992, at Titus County Memorial Hospital in
Mr. Pleasant, Texas. Services were Tuesday, March 10- at the
Concord Baptist Church near Omaha, with the Rev. Glenn Griffith
officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was
born January 11, 1917 in Simms and was a member of the Concord
Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter Martha Jo Jennings
of Evansville, Indiana; one stepson, Sonny Smith of Little River,
Texas; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

| Wright, Larry Glenn |
Larry Glenn Wright, 38 of Redwater,
died Wednesday, April 29, 1992 in an industrial accident in Nash,
Texas. Services were Saturday, May 2, at the Concord Missionary
Baptist Church near Omaha with burial at the concord Cemetery. Mr.
Wright was born April 21, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant at Titus County
Memorial Hospital. He attended Mt. Pleasant public schools through
the fifth grade and completed his schooling at Pewitt High School
graduating in 1972. He was employed by Alumax, Inc., located five
miles west of Texarkana, as a plant supervisor. He was a deacon at
the First Baptist Church of Redwater, fire marshal of the Redwater
Volunteer Fire Department, and was to receive the BAAS degree from
ETSU-Texarkana. In the past he was an employee of T&N Warehouse in
Lone Star, in the security and safety division. While residing in
Hughes Springs, he served as city judge and justice of the peace of
Precinct 2 of Cass County. He was a past deacon at Missionary
Baptist Church and the Calvary Baptist Church, both in Hughes
Springs. He was a former highway patrolman for the Department of
Public Safety for five years. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda
Gray Wright of Redwater; two children Justin 13, and Stephanie 11, both of Redwater; his
parents, Glenn and Shirley Wright of Omaha; his grandfather Bentley
Wright of Omaha; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Lila
Wright of Mt. Pleasant and Mark and Sandy Wright of Longview; his
mother-in-law and father-in-law Dolly and Alton Gray of Omaha; a
sister-in-law and brother-in-law Trisha and B. R. Grisham of Simms;
a sister-in-law Danita Martin of Omaha; numerous aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends. |

Marshall Wright, 76 of Omaha, died
Tuesday, December 29, 1992 at Titus County Memorial Hospital in Mt.
Pleasant, Texas. Services were Thursday, December 31 at Concord Baptist
Church near Omaha, with the Rev. Glenn Griffith and the Rev. Glenn Moore
officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery. Mr. Wright was born
November 14, 1916 in Omaha. He was a farmer, retired from Lone Star
Steel and member of Concord Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife
Beulah Lee Wright of Omaha; one son Richard Lynn Wright of Omaha; three
brothers, Bentley Wright and Billy Tobb Wright, both of Omaha and Leslie
Allen Wright of Tyler; one sister Mary Walker of Omaha; one grandson
Marshall Cody Wright of Anahaur, Texas; one grand-daughter Courtney
LeAnn Wright of Tivoli, Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews. |
