COLLINS, WILLIAM M (MIKE)

Mike Collins, 40, of
Naples, died Thursday, February 3, at his home. Funeral services
were at 2 pm, Sunday, February 6, at the Church of Christ in
Daingerfield, with Norman Miller officiating. Burial was in the
Spring Hill Cemetery near Naples. Mr. Collins was born December 18,
1953, in Weatherford, TX. He was a former employee of Lesco
Trucking, J & M Chemical Co., and A & E Machine Shop. Survivors
include his wife, Teresa Collins of Naples; two sons, Michael Lee
Collins of TN and Michael David Collins of Naples; one daughter,
Stephanie Brown of Clarksville, TX., his parents, Sarah and Bill
Collins of Daingerfield; two sisters, Brenda Collins of Tucson, AZ.,
and Billie Mae Morrison of Tallahoma, TN.; and a number of other

October 16, 1993 Mary Ever Gibson, 88, of Omaha died Saturday, October 16, 1993 at a
Mt. Pleasant Nursing Home. Services were at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the
Concord Baptist Church at Omaha with the Rev. Glenn Griffith and the
Rev. Nolan Richey officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery
under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home. Mrs. Gibson was born
March 28, 1895 in Morris County. She was a member of the Concord
Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons Vivian Gibson of Ft.
Worth and George Gibson of Wiley; four sisters Mrs. B. C. Vickers,
Mrs. Clyde Clayton, Mrs. Ann Gilstrap and Mrs. Maurice Simpson of
Naples; one sister-in-law Mrs. Bess Tuck of Naples; four

HART, FRED HOWARD September 17, 1933 –
July 11, 1993
Fred H. Hart, 59, of Omaha, died
Sunday, July 11, 1993, at Elmwood Nursing Home in Omaha. Services
were at 10 am Tuesday, July 13, at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel,
with the Rev. Tommy Weems officiating. Burial was in the Hart
Family Cemetery. Mr. Hart was born Sept. 17, 1933, in Omaha. He
was a retired employee of Lone Star Steel Company, a member of the
Baptist Church, a veteran of the Korean War, and a lifetime resident
of Morris County. Survivors include two sons, Billy Ted Hart of
Omaha and Freddie Kyle Hart of Hope, AR; his mother, Marie Hart of
Omaha; one brother, Wayne Hart of Mt. Pleasant; one sister, Norma
Easley of Ore City; and two grandchildren, Lindsey Hart of Omaha and
Haellie Hart of Hope. He was preceded in death by his father,

HEARD, CECIL MAE TAYLOR

Mrs. Cecil Heard, 91, of Naples,
died Sunday, March 28, 1993, at Elmwood Nursing Home in Naples.
Services were at 4 pm Tuesday, March 30, at the Rocky Branch Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Glenn Griffith and Bro. Wallace DeShong
officiating. Burial was in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Heard
was born November 21, 1901, in Alabama, and was a lifetime resident
of Morris County. She was a member of the Rocky Branch Baptist
Church and a retired employee of the Daingerfield school system.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Johnston of Daingerfield; two
sons, Willie Giles Smith of Naples and John Edward Smith of
Daingerfield; two stepsons, Waymon Gray and Eddie Gray, both of
Omaha; two brothers, Chesley Tigert of Daingerfield and Leonard
Tigert of Arlington; three sisters, Sallie Jones of Vivian, La., and
Frances Hart and Lizzie Lee Jennings, both of Daingerfield; 10
grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven

JOYNER, MARY SUE November 29, 1910 –
March 28, 1993
Mary
Sue Joyner, 82, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, March 28, 1993, in a
Tyler hospital after a lengthy illness. Services were at 2 pm
Tuesday, March 30, at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev.
Randy Harshburger officiating. Burial was in the Omaha Cemetery.
Mrs. Joyner was born November 29, 1910, in Omaha, and was a member
of the South Side Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant. She was a
homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Wiley Joyner of Lone Star
and Freddy Joyner of Omaha; four daughters, Mary Frances Saunders of
Austin, June Johnson of Mt. Pleasant, Dorothy Hartman of Greer, SC,
and Sylvia Hamilton of Dublin; three sisters, Marie Cherry of
Houston, Colene Adams of Dallas and Frances Richards of CO; two
brothers, Joe Moore of Dallas and Fred Moore of Houston; 27
grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and four

MCCOLLUM, AGNES BOECK September 28, 1934 – February 4, 1993
Agnes McCollum, 58, of Omaha, died Thursday, February 4, in a
Texarkana Hospital. Graveside memorial services were conducted at 2
pm, Saturday, February 20, at the Omaha Cemetery with Sister Chris
Bennett officiating. Interment was under the direction of Alexander
Funeral Home of Naples. Mrs. McCollum was born September 28, 1934,
in San Antonio. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic
Church in Daingerfield, and a member of the Order of the Eastern
Star. She was preceded in death of her husband, Bobbie McCollum, who
died in November 1992. Survivors include two sons, Arno Rennspies
Jr, and Alan Rennspies of Seguin, TX; one stepson, Terry Ray
McCollum of Omaha; a daughter, Susan Henson of Hanover, PA; a
brother, Eugene Boeck of Kingsbury, TX; two sisters, Marie Wilson of
Austin, and Margaret Harborth of Geronimo, TX; and ten

Lonnie Nance, 79 of Omaha, died
Sunday, January 31, 19903 in a Pittsburg nursing home and was buried
February 3 in the Concord Cemetery, with the Rev. Andy Andrews and
the Rev. Clifford Longino officiating. Mr. Nance was born November
20, 1913 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He was a Baptist and was
retired from Lone Star Steel Company. Survivors include his wife
Mary Nance, of Omaha; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bob Nance of
Dallas, Brad and Dana Nance of Edgewood, Texas; one daugher, Sandra
Roberts of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; five sisters, Ida Studer of
Ft. Worth, Nadine Thomas of San Antonio and Faye Raymond, Gladine
Basham and Winkie Fisher, all of Cooper; and three grandchildren.

W. W. “Bud” Nevill, 70 of Omaha,
died Sunday, January 10, 1993 at Titus County Memorial Hospital in
Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Services were held Wednesday, January 13 at
Alexander Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Glenn Griffith
officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery. Mr. Nevill was
born August 26, 1922, in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was retired
from the U. S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II, Korea and
Vietnam. He was a member of the Four-states chapter of former
P.O.Ws and Disabled American Veterans. He was a survivor of the
Bataan Death March and was a prisoner of the Japanese for three
years and seven months. He was a holder of the Bronze Star and
numerous service medals. He was a member of the Rocky Point
Congregational Methodist Church and was a Mason. Survivors include
his wife, Eva Nell Shelton Nevill of Omaha, two daughters, Sue Nell
Hicks of Conroe, Texas and Sherry Denice Sulter of Omaha; two sons,
Bill Nevill of Kansas City, Kansas; one sister Sue Center of
Winslow, Arkansas; two grandsons living at home and eight other
grandchildren. |

Leo Sutterfield, 65, of Naples died
Thursday March 4, 1993 in a Tyler hospital. Graveside services were
held Saturday, March 6 at Concord Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Harty
officiating. Mr. Sutterfield was born April 27, 1927 in
Connerville, Oklahoma. He was a mechanic, a Baptist and a veteran
of World War II. Survivors include his wife Christine Sutterfield
of Naples; three daughters Leota Eatherly of Mt. Pleasant, Elizabeth
Bolding of Dallas and Claudia Wilkerson of Houston; four brothers
Burley Sutterfield and Odis Suttefield, both of Boswell, Oklahaoma,
Joe Sutterfield of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Ray Don Sutterfield of
Dallas; and twin sisters, Alice Douglas of Oakland, California and
Perlie Edmunson of California. |

Emerald L. Tigert, 82, of DeKalb,
formerly of Omaha, died Saturday, December 26, 1993 at Redbud Nursing
Home in Naples. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 29 at the
Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Naples with the Rev,. Tom Edwards
officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery at Omaha. Mr. Tigert
was born September 2, 1910 in Omaha. He was a retired carpenter and
welder; and a member of the First Baptist Church of DeKalb and the
United Brotherhood of Carpenters of America. He had served in the U. S.
Coast Guard and was a member of the Admiral Byrd Expedition to the South
Pole in 1933-35. Survivors include one son, Lee Tigert of Park
Pacifica, California; one stepson Troy Daniel of Garland, Texas; one
daughter Jo Ann Dunnell of Fremont, California; one stepdaughter, Margie
Welch of Henderson; five brothers John W. Tigert of Mesquite, George W.
Tigert of Lone Star, Bobby Tigert, George Tigert, Jr., and Reuben Smith
of Shreveport; four sisters Lucy McCollum of Naples, Josephine Terrell
of Lone Star, Mildred Terrell of Daingerfield and Ruby Ivy of
Gladewater; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. |

Mary Walker, 81 of Omaha, died
Monday, January 18, 1993. Services were at the Omaha Baptist Church
with the Rev. David Shelton officiating. Burial was in the Concord
Cemetery. Mrs. Walker was a member of the First Baptist Church and
Daughters of the Confederacy and was a lifetime resident of Omaha.
Survivors include one son Raymond Lee of Hughes Springs; one
daughter Suzanne Horne of Oklahoma City; three brothers Bentley
Wright and Billy Tobb Wright both of Omaha and Leslie Wright of
Tyler; six grandchildren; a great granddaughter and several nieces
and nephews. |

Eugene Wells, 64, of Omaha, died Thursday, November 11, 993 at his
home. Services were at 2:00 p.m. November 13 at Alexander Funeral
Home Chapel in Naples with the Rev. Glenn Griffith officiating.
Burial was in the Concord Cemetery at Omaha. Mr. Wells was born
August 26, 1929 in Lamar County, TX. He was a self-employed logger,
and was a member of the Baptist Church, and a long time resident of
Omaha. Survivors include his wife Louise Wells of Omaha, two
daughters, Sandra Sellers of Hereford, TX. and Sherri Satterfield of
Hereford, one step-daughter Linda Portwood of Omaha, one sister
Katherine Anderson of Blossom, TX; seven grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers
were Billy Joe Tuck, Billy Wade Tuck. D. D. Tuck, Perry Tuck, Rollie
