Ga. He died 31 Oct 1951 in Navarro County, Texas and is buried in the
Oakwood Cemetery. He was
a plumber by trade. He married 23 Oct 1906 in Navarro County, Texas to
Maudia Vinson. Maudia was born 23 Dec 1887. She died 21 Oct 1918 at
Eureka, Navarro County, Texas. She is buried in the
Oakwood Cemetery in
Corsicana.
The couple had six (6) children: Tommie Nadine, Lloyd
Hershell, Odie Mae, Geore Lenard, Bruce Aubrey, and a baby boy who died
at birth.
Tom's parents were George Washington Bailey born 5
Dec 1859 in Georgia, and died 9 Oct 1935 in Titus County, Texas. He is
buried in White Oak Springs Cemetery. There is no stone on his grave.
He Married Emma Atkinson 23 Dec 1880 in Gwinnett Co., Georgia by Wm.
Hasselett. She was born in Georgia and died 25 Jan 1919 in Emory,
Raines County, Texas and is buried in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery just
outside of Emory, Raines County, Texas. The couple had eight (8)
children: Thomas Edmund, Sallie, Lillie, John, Nora, Georgia, Lenard
"Bill", and Joe. George and Emma came to Texas 1 Dec 1901 from Gwinnett
County, Georgia. They lived in Titus County, Texas.
Maudia's parents were Robert Anderson Vinson and
Nancy Jane Washburn.
