Alfred Hatley Dies Leaving 90 Survivors Special to The News CORSICANA, Texas, March 1. - Alfred F. Hatley, 86, who is survived by ninety living descendants died here Tuesday night.  A native of Arkansas, he had lived at Blooming Grove and Corsicana many years. Surviving are six sons, W. A. Hatley, San Antonio; J. J. Hatley, Stamford; M. D., E. L. and J. M. Hatley all of Dallas; and B. V. Hatley, Corsicana; four daughters, Mrs. Inez Spurriar, Corsicana; Mrs. Tulia Anderson, Pursley; Mrs. Maud Malcolm, Pittsburg, and Mrs. Effie McGee, Blooming Grove; thirty grandchildren, forty-six great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Notes for Alfred Flower Hatley:

Story is told that Alfred went home to Arkansas when his daddy died. He stayed quite a while.  Some speculate that he was looking for the money his daddy "supposedly" had buried behind the barn.
