Pfc. William F. Eggert, Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Eggert, Sr., Laredo, husband of the former Miss Orelyene Carroll, graduate of Laredo Schools.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Coast Artillery at Ft. Sam Houston, Camp Roberts, Port Townsend, Ft. Worden.  Has served in Canada, received Honorable Discharge, 1943.
ELKINS, L. A.
T/Sgt. L. A. Elkins, son of Mr. Nola L. elkins, Corsicana.  Entered service, 1941, trained with 90th Division of Infantry at Camp Barkley.  Has served in England, France, Normandy, given Medical Discharge, 1945.  Has E.T.O. Ribbon, Good Conduct and Marksmanship in 7 Weapons.
ELKINS, ARTHUR Z.
Pfc. Arthur Z. Elkins, son of Mrs. Belle Elkins, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Stacy Alderdice, graduate from COrsicana.  Entered Air Corps, 1942, trained at Ft. Worth, Greenville, and Blackland.  Now on duty at Blackland.
ELKINS, VAN J., JR.
Pvt. Van J. Elkins, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Van J. Elkins, husband of the former Miss Shirley Jo Powell, attended Richland High School, and Texas Technological College, Lubbock.  Entered Army, 1944, trained at Cam Walters, and Camp Howze.  Honorably Discharged.
ELIOT, JAMES R.
T/Sgt. James R. Eliot, son of Mrs. E. A. Eliot, Angus, graduate of Corsicana High School, attended College at Nacogdoches.  Entered Army Signal Corps, 1941, traiend at Ft. Sam Houston.  Has served in Australia and India, now on duty at Harlingen Air Field, has two Bronze Stars.
ELLETT, JAMES N.
S/Sgt. James N. Ellett, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Ellett, husband of the former Miss Ellen Purifoy.  Entered Army March 1943, trained at Ft. Lewis, Mississippi Southern College, Hattisburg, Miss.  Has served in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany, now on duty in European Theater.  Has Certificate of Merit with Citation for Services performed on the Continent of Europe.
ELLINGTON, ED E.
T/Sgt Ed E. Ellington, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Ellington, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Paratroop Corps at Ft. Benning, Ga.  Has served in Germany, Italy, Belgium, and wounded in Italy, 1944, and in Belgium, 1945.  Has Purple Heart and one Cluster, expert combat Infantry Badge, and Bronze Sar.

Sgt. Charlie M. Ellington, son of Mrs. Daisy B. Ellington, Corsicana, graduate of Mildred High School.  Entered Infantry, 1942, trained at Camp Walters, Camp Robinson, Camp Btuner and Ft. Ord.  Has served on Attu, in Philippines, wounded in Okinawa, 1945, now on duty on Okinawa.  Has Purple Heart.
ELLINGTON, OCIE N.
Cpl. Ocie N. Ellington, son of Mrs. Daisy B. Ellington, graduate of Mildred School.  Entered Army, 1943, trained at Camp Holder, Camp Koler, Ft. Sam Houston, and McCain, Miss.  Has served in England, France and now on duty in Germany.
ELLINGTON, JACKIE L.
T/Sgt. Jackie L. Ellington, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Ellington, husband of the former Miss Elizabeth Paschall, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered the Air Corps, 1942, trained with the 8th Air Force.  Has served in Scotland, Wales, and England, wounded over Germany, 1944.  Has D.F.C., Air Medal, with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Purple Heart, good Conduct, E.T.O. Ribbon with 3 Battle Stars, and Presidential Citation.

Elliott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Elliott, Corsicana, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered Army, 1944, trained at Camp Hood.  Has served in Framce, Belgium and Germany, now on duty at Camp Hood.  Has served in France, Belgium and Germany, now on duty at Camp Shelby, Miss.  Has Good Conduct Ribbon, Two Bronze Stars, and Combat Medal.

Sgt. Thomas N. Ellis, son of Mrs. Cora Ellis, graduate of Purdon, attended John Tarleton Agricultural College.  entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camps Wallace and Shelby.  Has served in England, France, Belgium and Germany, now in Army of Occupation.
ELLIS, ATLAS L.
S/Sgt. Atlas L. Ellis, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Ellis, husband of the former Miss Verlene Taylor, graduate of Mildred Schools, attended Tyler Commercial College.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Bowie.  Has served in Africa, Italy, and France, now on duty in France.  Has 4 Battle Stars, Bronze Star and Good Conduct Medal.

ELLIS, RAYMOND C.
S/Sgt, Raymond C. Ellis, son of Mrs. R. M. Phillips.  Trained with Air Force, 1942, in California, Louisiana, Colorado.  Complete 63 Missions as Gunner on B-26 in Sardinia, North Africa, now crew chief, San Angelo Air Training Base.  Holds Presidential Citation, Air Medal, Silver Star, 6 Battle Stars, and Good Conduct Medal.

Pvt. Earl Ellis, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Ellis, Richland, attended school at Currie, Texas.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Amphibious Forces at Camp Gordon Johnson, Fla.  Has served in India and now in China on duty.
ELLIS, WILLIAM A.
Pvt. William A. Ellis, son of Mrs. C. M. Ellis, Rice, husband of the former Miss Josie Lee Roberts, attended Rice Schools.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army at Camp Bowie.  Now on duty at Harmon General Hospital.
ELLIS, JACKSON W.
S/Sgt Jackson W. Ellis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ellis, Blooming Grove.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army at Ft. Lewis.  Has served in France, Germany, Australia, England, Scotland.  Wounded in action in France, 1945, now on duty at Ft. Sam Houston.  Has Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Combat Badge.
ELMORE, AURBEN B.
Pfc. Aurben B. Elmore, son of Mrs. Susie Elmore, husband of the former Miss Eura Davis, graduate of Corbet Schools. Entered service, 1944, trained with Anti Aircraft at Ft. Bliss. Sent overseas in 1945 ,now on duty in Hawaii.
