SMALL-KNIGHT united in marriage
On Saturday, April 7th, Lee Earl Knight and Keri Small were united in
marriage in a small family ceremony held at the John Moore Searcy Activity
Center at the Beckville Housing Authority. It was perhaps an unusual
situation in that Lee Earl's ex-in-laws were present as were
Keri's.
Lee Earl's brother Brian was best man and Keri's sister Lisa was the matron of
honor. All of Lee Earl and Keri's children were allowed to participate in
the ceremony in whatever capacity they chose.
The newly weds immediately settled into family life in Lee Earl's house here in
Beckville. The blended family includes Keri's children: Steven age 14,
Beth age 12, Ashlynn age 9 and Alex age 4; Lee Earl's daughters Breanna age 5
and Ashley age 3.
The Rev. Jerry Phillips, a long time family friend, was the officiating
minister.
A host of marvelous friends made it a most memorable occasion. Sandra
Sharp East provided the punch and the bulk of the refreshments. Ann Smith
Fitch, Alice Langley Williams and Judy Weaver Carpenter spearheaded the
decorations assisted by Shannon Ramage Knight and Casey Bramblett Sharp.
