DRAKE, Clarence Clifford, born 9 Sep. 1896 to Thomas Andrew Drake and Anne (maiden name unknown)in Whitt, PARKER COUNTY, TX. Mother Anne died when Clarence was young (probably still in Whitt), but Clarence was old enough to remember mother had fiery red hair and a temper to match. Father was killed in the coal mines in Five Civilized Tribes territory (Choctaw) when Clarence was a young lad and he returned to Texas, possibly Parker Co. where he was reared by an uncle. Mother's brother? Father's brother? Really need a TX soundex/census search for 1900 to and including 1920. Shirley Maynard

Allison PICKARD born 7 Aug 1883, died Jun 1982, Weatherford, PARKER Co., TX is the oldest Pickard I know of in TX. I wonder if there could be a relationship to our Pickard line. We have three PICKARD/PICKHARD girls whose Mississippi? parents came to Texas. Evidently the parents died and three girls came back to Mississippi. Mary Ann Luvicy "Vicy" Pickard born about 1860, in TX; Salena Pickard; Rebecca born 1844, MS; Eliza born 1846, MS; Martha J. born 1853, MS. These girls are with Mary Pickhard, born 1807, GA. Any census info or evidence of connection to the Pickards in PARKER Co. would help.

I am searching for my great aunt, Juanetta Reeder, who was married to an Alvin Reeder. Date unknown. She was with my grandmother, Cornelia Stuard, several times during the 1920's or 1930's. There are only 4 of us grandchildren living and no one remembers if she and Alvin lived in Parker County or not. If anyone can help me, I will certainly appreciate it. Sincerely, Ross R. Stuard, Jr.
