I am looking for some information on Sarah Ann (Holt) Wood who married my gg grandfather Thomas C. Moore in 1881. Sarah Ann died in 1898. Sarah Ann was the widow of William George Wood. She is possibly related to Matilda Freeman, the first wife of Thomas C. Moore, by marriage. Any information that you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Their chn: Willie Lee b1818; Emory Alton b1920; Fannie Florine b1923; Barney Cecil b1925; Sammie Carlton b1930; Betty Layton b1933. Were William's parents Jarrett & Elizabeth THOMPSON? My great great grandfather, WILLIAM H.BREWER moved to PARKER COUNTY in the late 1880's or early 1890's. The family setteled in the Northeast part of PARKER county, around SPRINGTOWN. He died in Springtown in Jan 1912 and is buried in the Springtown Cemetery in Section A. His stones reads Grandpa BREWER, Aged 83 years. Other family members buried in Springtown are Clarence Cully BREWER, Luke BREWER, Nancy BREWER, and Orville BREWER. Other family members in the Springtown area are, James C. BREWER, Mary C. BREWER, L.G.BREWER. Mary C. BREWER's daughter, Mary Lucy PLUNK, married Austin Ona SULLIVAN in WISE County in the early 1880's. Need information on the families of L.G.BREWER, James C. Need help, please. I have just received a copy of death certificate for my gg grandmother, Mrs. S(arah) F. COKER, who died in Weatherford, PARKER Co., TX 16 Feb 1911. Undertaker's name looks like J. T. Cotton and place of interment was SHADY GROVE. Can someone please identify location of this burial? Would appreciate any assitance. Interested in other COKERs if they are buried in this cemetery also.

Searching for descendants of Joseph W. KERBY who lived in the Terrapin Neck Community northeast of Springtown (on Walnut Creek) in Parker Co. His wife's name was Zerilda who died in Tarrant Co, TX abt 1859. His children were Mary (DUNN, SUTTLE), Zerilda (COLE), Susan (HOLDEN), George who married Sara BURKE, James who married Adaline NIX and Elihu who married Catherine GRAVES. This family was listed on the 1850 census in Franklin Co, KY.

Seeking information about the children of Alice Emberling and her husband William Sparks (died in an Union P.O.W. camp in Illinois, 1863 after he joined the 18th Texas Cavalry in Dallas). Their daughter, Lizzie/Elizabeth, is listed with her uncle's (Martin Emberling/Emberland) household on the 1880 Parker Co. census. Lizzie was born about 1861; her brother, George(??), was a little older. Do not know where they went or what happened to them. Alice could have remarried or died. Trying to connect the siblings and cousins of that generation. Does anyone know what happened to them. Appreciate any information. Thanks.

I am looking for any info on John Nolen Warden--b: 1 SEPT 1903/d: 17 NOV 1989. John Nolen was born in Weatherford, according to my father-in-law. He married Eula Mae Coble. John Nolen's father was John Henry Warden who married Mary Kidwell. John Henry's father was John Warden. John Warden was married 2 times and had a total of 24 children. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
