His father, Daniel Webster DODSON,and brothers were in PARKER COUNTY, TEXAS, in the 1870's and 1880's. His older brother, Daniel Webster DODSON, Jr., was married to Mandy Jane PEARCE in PARKER COUNTY in 1880. We'd like to know more about their stay in PARKER COUNTY. One of the two Daniels paid property taxes here in 1978 and 1879. They likely were in ranching or agriculture

BROCK, COX, LONG posted by John R. Duer on Sunday, March 10, 2002: Allen Waters "Allie" LONG was my great-grandmother. She was b. March 1876 in TX (I believe in Parker County, but have no documentation), m. abt. 1897 to Fred Eli COX, and d. aft. May 13, 1927 (the date of her husband's death) in Yuma, Yuma Co., AZ. She is buried in the Cox Cemetery in Millsap, Parker Co., TX. (I have personally seen the headstone erected in the Cox Cemetery in Parker County, TX, for both Allie and her husband, and a list of those buried in the Cox Cemetery, furnished to me by "cousin" John B. Kendrick of Mineral Wells, TX, also shows them buried there.) My data (which came from a "cousin" in AZ, so I don't have any documentation as yet) show that Allie's father was John Wesley LONG, b. May 17, 1857 in AR. However, the 1900 Census of Parker County, TX, shows both of Allie's parents having been born in TX; and the 1910 Census of Parker County, TX, shows her father born in TN, and her mother born in KY, and by the dates of birth of Allie and her siblings you provided, John Wesley would have been 9 YOA when his first child was born! I also only have 3 children of the marriage: E.B. LONG, J.D. (James Dallas?) LONG, and Allen Waters LONG. Obviously, I have a problem with my data, and could use some help in resolving it.

Seeking any information on Ollie and Allie Snowden, dgt's of Levi Cloud and Malinda Jane Alexander Snowden. Cannot find douctmentaion to clarify this. Ollie was married to a Heskett and a Dusing.
