Looking for information on a Machuca (sp?) family who lived in Marfa, Presidio,TX. Manuel Machuca md. Avinia Pena (b. ca 1870?) children: Demitrio, Rita, Manuelita, Placida. Placida was adopted by a Baronde family and md. James H. Milam in Marfa. Thanks for any help on these families. |

Gabriel Madrid Bejarano born 1 December 1909 in Marfa,Texas married Maria Valdez in California. Gabriel died 19 April 1959 in Riverside, California. His parents were Ynez Bejarano born in Mexico and Reyes Madrid born in Mexico. My best guess (we never had con tact with his family) is that Reyes and Madrid lived in Marfa. HELP! |

I am looking for information on my great-grandfather, Santiago Hinojos. I've been told he was a Sheriff in Marfa, TX. I know he had at least one daughter named Elisa/Elsie (?) Hinojos b 27 July 1892 in Marfa. His wife, Ereidia (sp?) died either during or soon after give birth to their daughter. Elisa Hinojos married Herd Wilson of GA. Any information you can offer would be most appreciated. Thank you. |

Looking for any info on the John RABORN family or their decendants. John RABORN married Bethena PITNER of Union or Lumpkin Co, Ga and they moved to Alpine Tx by 1895. Bethena was twin sister to Tryphenia who married James LANCE of Lumpkin Co, Ga. Her parents were James and Asenath E. Williams PITNER. James and Asenath had 7 other children. I have lots of decendancy info I'll be happy to share. Any information at all o n this family would be greatly appreciated. |

POOL/POOLE who was very active in this county about 1880-90. John was a
member of Quantrall's Raiders during the Civil War. John was a friend of
Frank James who was a brother of the Jesse James [James Gang] He's not
my relative but in interesting character that I'm researching.

KYLER, William E., and wife Charlotte,
were living in Presidio in 1930. From there I don't know where they went,
if anywhere. William died about 1953. He was born about 1879 in Christian
County, IL., and traveled all around the country. If you know anything
