|My great grandfather Alex Mims, born in RRC 1876, died in Denison, TX ca.1912. Son of Sam Mims (born TX ,ca 1851, died 1923 in White Rock, son of unknown and Letha Mims) and Mattie Beaty Mims(born TX, ca 1856, death unknown, daughter of unknown and Sarah Beaty) After spending 2 years at Bishop College in Marshall, TX Alex Mims came home to RRC and wed Ella Cleveland in 1898. In 1906 Alex Mims with his wife Ella, 2 sons Prezell and Wesley and Mother-in-law Katherine, headed a wagon train that included the Bossan, Estes, Scott and Waller families across the Red River into Oklahoma.|

Daughter of Henry (born MS ca. 1837, died 1903 in Annona) and
Katherine Cleveland (born VA 1840,died in Denison, TX unknown)
Ella Cleveland taught school in RRC for a short time, before her marriage to Alex Mims.
Baty Wilson Boyce- I am assuming this photo is from 1908 because
she is wearing the exact outfit in the school picture below.
