Mrs. Davis Adkins delighted members and guests of the 500 Club with an afternoon of entertainment on Wednesday of last week.  The guests of the club were:  Mrs. R.W. Dwiggins of Beeville, Mrs. D.S. Fox and Miss Jamie Lambert.

Club members present were:  Mesdames C.R. Abston, C.H. Cable, Clay Murphy, Ed Sitterle, B.K. McGuill, B.A. Johnson, James B. Heard, Henry Heard, Joe C. Heard, F.B. Rooke, Sr., M.F. Lambert, Joe W. Sneed, A.F. Sayers, C.J. Reilly, Phillip G. Young, C.T. Weir and Leander Piehl.

The first prize won by Mrs. Young,...prize by Mrs. Sayers and the guest prize by Mrs. Dwiggins.

A beautiful Halloween motif was expressed in the decorations and brought many expressions of admiration from the guests.

Mrs. Adkins completed her hospitality with a course of delicious refreshments.
