“Miss Cable Entertains” |
| Miss Evelyn Cable very prettily
entertained the Tuesday Bridge Club of her home in Refugio, Tuesday
afternoon. After the usual
number of games Mrs. Henry Heard was awarded the high member
prize, Mrs. Jack Mackelroy high guest and Mrs. Leander Piehl
high cut.
Delicious refreshments of pineapple salad, cheese chips, olives, macaroons and coffee were served to the following: Members, Mesdames Leander Piehl, Ed Sittelee, B.A. Johnson, John Kay, Clay Murphy, Henry Heard and Miss Jessie Huddleston. Guests, Mesdames Jack Muckelroy, N.C. Imon, Sam Adler and Davis Adkins. The home was decorated with beautiful roses for the occasion. |
