The following marriages have been abstracted from handwritten record books in Refugio County. If I was not sure of the spelling of a name I put a question mark after it. In some cases I placed a more conventional spelling of a name in brackets for the convenience of a site search. Below each entry are notes pertaining to that marriage. Juan Partida	Francisca Cruz	03 May 1893	J.M. Dubois, JP	Juan Partida signed an Affidavit with an "X" that he was at least 21 years of age and that Francisca was at least 18.
The following was attached to the above record: "Anaqua P.O. Victoria, April 29, 1893, Mr. George Rogers, Dear Sir The bearer of his Juan Partida wishes to take out a licence to get married to one Francisco Cruze, and asked me to write you this note so that you might know what he wants. Yours Respectfully John A. Warburton. P.S. he says has the consent of the girls parents. John A. Warburton"

Oblidge James Avery Please send by Bearer of this note Saul Dunman. James Avery, Jr., age 21 years. Saul Dunman witness to my & her age. Mr. G.P. Rogers County Clerk
