The Murphy family moved from the Blanconia community to "Sarco Creek in Goliad Co." about 1916, when Maggie was 11. They "bought an old house and moved it on some land that belonged to" Maggie's mother's parents. Later her parents owned the property. Maggie married a neighbor, James Wells Plummer, on October 10, 1926, in Refugio. They had one child, Bernarr Floyd Plummer, born 1927. Bernarr married Mary Jane Putnam and they had two children. |
