Be it remembered that on the 25th day of Oct. A.D. 1840 Being the last Monday in said month The Hon. Probate Court for the County of Refugio County met pursuant to adjournment Present the Hon. Benj. F. Neal Judge of Probate.  John Clark Depy Clerk and James B. Collinsworth Dep. Shrff.

 

John W. Bower admr..
of the estate of  Eliz. OBrian [O'Brien]

In this cause it is ordered by the court that the settlement of said estate be continued until the said administration until the said admr. can have the property equally divided among the heirs of said estate.

 

 

Thomas Omara [Amara]
vs.
John Armstrong admr 
of the estate of J.C. Pearse [Pierce]

The parties being called into court and no one appearing - It is ordered by the Court that the same be dismissed - And that the defendant in this cause recover against Thos. Omara [Amara] plaintiff the amt of costs in his suit by him in this behalf expended.

 

 

John W. Bower admr. of
the Estate of And. OBrian
[O'Brien]  

The admr. as aforesaid having filed his Petition praying that the Court grant him further time to obtain information relative to the settlement of said estate - Whereupon It is ordered by the Court that such time shall be prolonged as the discretion of the Court.

 

 

Martin Power having presented the Inventory & appraisement of the estate of William McGill [McGuill] decd.  It is ordered by the Court that the same be filed with the other papers of the succession.

 



Martin Power having presented the inventory and appraisement of the estat of William Redmond decd. Whereupon it is ordered by the Court the same be filed along with other papers of the succession.

The attorney in this cause having filed his Petition. It is ordered by the Court that Public notice be given to all Persons interested therein according to law.

 

 

It is ordered that the Probate Court be continued sine die.
