Whereas the succession of ...remains vacant & no one applying for letters of administration upon said estate - It is ordered by the Court that the same be committed to John R. Baker, Sheriff of Refugio County, the said Sheriff complying with the requisitions of the 10th Section of an act Regulating the duties of Probate Court &c. Patrick Lawler administrator of the Estate of Martin Lawler decd. being absent from the Republic on business and having shown good cause to the Court why he has neglected to settle said Estate - It is ordered by the Court that the Letters of Administration granted to Henry Ryals Esqr. be revoked and that further time be granted to Patrick Lawler at the discretion of the court to make settlement of sd. succession. It is ordered that the court adjourn sine die. Benj.
