County of Refugio

Be it remembered that on this the 26th day of Sep. A.D. 1842 being the last Monday of of [sic] said month The Honl. Probate Court of Refugio County met Present Benj. F. Neal Judge of Probate and John W.B. McFarlane Clerk -

Public notice having been given of the application of Peter Teal for letters of administration upon the estate of John B. Sidick [Siddick] - It is ordered by the court that the Petitioners prayer be granted he giving bond in the sum of one thousand dollars.  It is further ordered that John Fagan O Thomas Connor [Thomas O'Connor] and Michael Fox be appointed appraisers upon said estate.

NOTE:  The page following this on the microfilm appears to be in order but the dates are in 1845.  I can not account for Probates Minutes for the dates between September 26, 1842 and August 11, 1845.
