TIVOLI PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
 
On October 5, 1910, the Rev. Marshall Doggett and James I. Paisley organized the Presbyterian Church in Tivoli.  The following were charter members:

Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Gisler
Mrs. J.E. Barber
Miss Annie Pagel
Mr. and Mrs. John Beckman

The Charter members met monthly at the schoolhouse.  By 1911 there were eleven members, and in 1914 the church minutes showed 18 members.  The Union Sunday School boasted 74 and Mr. T.E. Jeter served as superintendent with J.H. Angerstein as assistant superintendent.  Teachers included Mrs. S.C. Crews, Mrs. Theo Hartman, Mrs. Hiller, Miss Nita Adkins and Mrs. Schorlemmer.  

The "Ladies Aid Society" was organized in October 1911. Officers were:

Mrs. O.F. Hartman, President
Mrs. W.H. Gisler, Vice President
Miss Annie Pagel, Secretary-Treasurer
