Will observe Veterans Day On Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. At Hilbig Park The Smithville Honor Guard will present a tribute for deceased veterans. Ed Lavin, Colonel, USAF (RET) will give a special presentation on the American Manila Cemetery and Memorial honoring those who died in the Bataan death march. Veterans are encouraged by the Department of Defense to wear their medals and ribbons and/or a full uniform. If you have an interesting show and tell item related to your military career, bring it and tell about it. This year, as in 2006, RHA will again remember those who served our country.
