The Archer-McLeroy Cemetery is located on a hill in some woods on land formerly owned by the late Bob Marshall and currently owned by his nephew, Don Marshall of Spring, TX.  This cemetery, which is behind a locked gate and is inaccessible to the public, is on private land.  It is several miles off of a county road between Boone Prairie & Easterly.  In very bad condition, only three markers remain.  Given the distances between the Archer and McLeroy tombstones, several unmarked graves likely exist at this site.

ARCHER, MARY ANN, 1.1859 - 4.13.1875, aged 16 years, 2 months, 25 days, d David Alexander & Agnes Jane Cheatham Archer, "In Memory Of"

MCLEROY, PORTER, 1.8.1881 - 9.4.1881, "Gone But Not Forgotten"
