The graves of five individuals are located just south of the Calvert Livestock Commission on Hwy. 6 outside of Calvert.  These burials were recently discovered when the Texas Department of Transportation (TDOT) was considering widening Hwy. 6 south of Calvert.  Ultrasonic equipment was brought in which confirmed the existence of five unknown burials at the site.
In early 2002, volunteer Bill Hammond Norton spoke with Mike Carpenter, the environmentalist with the Highway 6 expansion project who confirmed that TDOT has been able to detect evidence of five graves.  Courthouse records indicate that the property once belonged to the Logan family, although the Peevee family now owns the property. About a quarter of an acre has been marked off for this cemetery.
