Texas A&M University is a regional repository for historic information on the following Texas counties:  Brazos, Burleson, Colorado, Fayette, Lee, Milam, Robertson, & Washington. Much of the same information that is available at the Robertson County Courthouse may be available on microfilm at or through Texas A&M. (This information may not be available at the Texas State Archives & Library in Austin). You can either visit Texas A&M’s Sterling C. Evans Annex 5th floor Reference Division Microtext Department to view the microfilm or request an interlibrary (library-to-library) loan through your local library. While you can view the microfilms on-site at Texas A&M for free, you cannot check them out yourself. This has to be done through interlibrary loan.  (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Family History Centers are not able to accomplish interlibrary loans with organizations outside of the church, like Texas A&M). Loans to libraries in Texas may be free or at minimal cost; there is a $20 processing fee (maximum of 5 microfilm reels) per request for out-of-state library requests.
Records: The following Robertson County records are available at or through Texas A&M University
