Local Robertson County records are below.  In March 2000, the Texas Bureau of Vital Statistics placed many Texas birth, marriage, divorce, & death records online but pulled them after an experimental period.

The "TX Index" hyperlinks above are derived from information the Texas Bureau Of Vital Statistics made available online on March 1, 2000.  These records have since been removed and are no longer available online through the Texas Bureau Of Vital Statistics.  These records included:

• Texas Birth Records  Texas birth records do not become open public records until they are fifty years old. Indexes for years of open records are referred to as General Birth Indexes (1926 through 1949). The General Birth Index includes the last, first, and middle name, if any, of the registrant, date of birth, county of birth, and sex of registrant, and may also include father's name and mother's maiden name. Not all of these fields are available for all years.  Years which are not yet open to the public are called Summary Birth Indexes (1950-1995). The Summary Birth Index includes the last, first, and middle name, if any, of the registrant, date of birth, county of birth, and sex of registrant.
• Texas Marriage Records  The Marriage Index includes the last, first, and middle name, if any, the county of issue, the date of marriage, the spouse's name, and state file number.  Marriage indexes before 1966 are not available because marriage applications were not filed with the state offices until then. To receive information on marriages prior to 1966, or if you cannot locate a marriage in our indexes, contact the county in which the marriage occurred for the record.
• Texas Divorce Records  The Divorce Index includes the last, first, and middle name, if any, of the husband, and the state file number. Only the wife's first name, and middle name if any, are given.  Divorce indexes before 1968 are not available because divorce applications were not filed with the state offices until 1968. To receive information on divorces prior to 1968, or if you cannot locate a divorce in our indexes, contact the county in which the marriage occurred for the record.
• Texas Death Records  Texas Death Indexes for years of open records are referred to as General Indexes and indexes for years which are not yet open to the public are called Summary Indexes.  At this time all files are in the Summary Index format.  The Summary Death Index (1975-1998) contains the last, first, and middle name, if any, of the decedent, date of death, county of death, and sex of registrant. The not-yet-released General Death Index (years prior to 1975) will include the last, first, and middle name, if any, of the registrant, date of death, county of death, and sex of registrant when it is available. It may also include Social Security number, marital status, and the spouse's name.  Not all of these fields are available for all years.
