Barton Farm Cemetery

Robertson County TX

When heading towards Calvert from the Providence Church on Hwy. 1644, you'll pass a road on the left which leads toward the site of Marvin (a community that existed where this road dead-ends into the railroad tracks).  This is the black road that goes to the left from the "4" in "8.4" on Hwy. 1644.  Further along 1644 is another road on the left, which heads toward the site of Barton (a community that existed where this road crosses the railroad tracks).  This road is just below the bridge.  Past this road, still traveling on 1644 towards Calvert, you'll cross a bridge over the Little Brazos River.  Continue beyond this bridge and up the hill in the road.  On the left is a gate with a road beyond that leads to the Barton Farm Cemetery, which is located near Peters Slough..  According to Volunteer Robert Goff, "Mrs. Minnieola Alford Redman told me that she has relatives buried in a small cemetery on the Barton Farm."  If you know the name of this cemetery, where it is located, or the names of anyone buried there,
