Nancy Rosson Parker ca. 1885
Sallie (granddaughter), Nancy and Rosa Belle Kay (niece)
Belle was a young woman who lived with Nancy.

Belle Young was born Rosa Belle Kay. Her mother and father (Oliver & Maria Rosson Kay) both deceased, she later went to live with her father's sister, Emily Emaline Kay and Elijah Deconde Pruitt. She lived with them (four miles west of Tuscola) until her marriage to Elbert Young.

They are all buried in the Buffalo Gap Cemetery, the oldest public cemetery in Taylor County.

Nancy Rosson Parker was a sister to Maria Rosson Kay - wife of Oliver Kay. Their parents were John Rosson b/1790 SC and Nellie Douthit

Cynthia Ann Parker (captured by the Indians - Quanah Parker's mother) was a 1st cousin of Nancy Parker's husband and Nancy Parker made the dress that the Rangers took to bring Cynthia Ann Parker home.

Nancy Rosson Parker had a brother who was also an early Runnels County pioneer, Andrew Jackson Rosson.
