Records Abstraction Forum
meets at the
WTC (ASU West Texas Collection) This
forum is open to anyone interested in honing their abstraction and
research skills - or helping continue to fund the future of SAGHS
through abstracted records. We are currently
working on abstraction projects such as Tom Green
County divorces, 1950 obituaries, and marriage
records from Reagan County. Our latest project is
indexing the 1940 Census. There’s plenty to do and
a project to suit any skill level or time commitment.
Summer schedule: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16,
June 20, July 18, and August 15.

Trade genealogy tips and help solve each
other’s
genealogy quandaries at the 3rd Monday
Genealogy Luncheon! Meet us at 11:30 a.m., May
21, June 18, July 16, and August 20. We gather at
McGowan’s in Rio Concho Manor, 401 Rio
Concho Drive for a delicious buffet at only $7.00.
Research Forum will
not meet in June, July, or
August as the West Texas Collection drops evening
hours on Thursdays as ASU is not in session.
